Mountain to Mesa Home Builders Association has three standing committees including:

(1) The Membership Development, Retention, and Events Committee

(2) the Budget and Finance Committee

(3) the Government Affairs Committee

At least one liaison from the Board of Directors serves on each committee.  In the case of the Government Affairs Committee, each of the six Builder/Developer Board members serves on the Government Affairs Committee representing their appointed area within the Chapter’s jurisdiction.  In addition to the standing committees, two special committees have been formed including the Sustainable Practice Committee and the Education Committee.

To take full advantage of your membership the Board of Directors encourages your involvement on one of the existing committees. The experience you gain from collaborating with your peers is invaluable and offers an opportunity to professionally set yourself apart in an industry leadership role.  Committee members provide a source of succession for the Board of Directors and creates the foundation for the future of our organization.

M2M HBA is represented, by one of its Executive Committee members from the Board of M2M HBA, on the Colorado Association Home Builders (“CAHB”) Board.  This provides a key voice from our territory on issues most important to our area members.  CAHB Board of Directors are represented on the National Association of Home Builders (“NAHB”) providing a voice from the State of Colorado.  Our voice is heard and most effective through member involvement from a local grassroots level.
